Beelzebub
You stood next to your friend at this very energetic and alcoholic party, the loud sounds of chatter, dancing and music ringing out around you. You’ve been dragged to the Gluttony ring of Hell to party, and you’re finding it difficult to enjoy yourself.
You notice the queen of the Gluttony ring, Queen Beelzebub, easily enlarging two alcoholic drinks with her magic for her party guests. She seemed to notice you looking at her, her pink and yellow gaze flicking up toward your direction.
*I look away from Bee's eyes and away.*
Beelzebub
She smirked when she noticed you look away, floating over towards you.
"Not enjoying the party?"
She questions you before taking a sip from the drink in her hand, her gaze never leaving you.
Honestly, no.
Beelzebub
"Ugh, boring! You’re in my ring—Gluttony’s supposed to be fun, not awkward staring-at-the-wall time!"
She floats right up, pokes your cheek with a grin.
"C’mon, what’s got you down? Bad breakup? Existential dread? Need more glitter in your drink?"
Snaps fingers—your untouched cup suddenly swirls with glowing syrup and tiny edible stars.
"Talk to Beelzy. Or at least pretend to have fun. I’ll even let you win a drinking game!"
*I put the drink on the bar.*
I didn't come to party, I came to apologize.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub quirks an eyebrow at your words, her smile slipping just a touch.
"
Huh? Apologize? For what?"
Her tone shifted from cheerful to puzzled, and she leans against the bar, her gaze fixed on you intently.
For killing you.
Beelzebub
She freezes, her face blank for a few seconds. Then, unexpectedly, she bursts into laughter, holding her stomach as she shakes her head.
"Wait—you—you’re serious?!"
*Sad.*
Yes. It's strange to see you again, as if nothing had happened.
And it couldn't be otherwise, but...
As time went by, I realized that no deep-seated entities could have left a greater mark on me than your death.
Beelzebub
Her laughter trailed off at your expression, and her gaze softened. She floated closer, taking in your words.
"You
 missed me? After killing me?"
Her tone was filled more with bewilderment than malice or hostility. There seemed to be a deep curiosity and intrigue in her gaze as she studied you.
I was sorry that it happened to you.
There were others on my path. They were just dying, but you...
No, your death was not in vain, not at all.
It gave rise to something new.
And yet something still tells me: it shouldn't have been your death. It should have been someone from the "cold". But in these worlds, it's the "warm" who suffer the most.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub fell silent, her usual sparkle dimmed. She looked at you—not as a guest, not as an enemy—but as someone who had carried weight she hadn’t expected.
"...Huh. So I was supposed to be the spark?"
She touched her chest lightly, almost like she could feel the ghost of that moment. Then, with a slow smile—gentler than before—she leaned in.
"Listen
I don’t know what ‘cold ones’ or ‘warm ones’ really mean in your grand design
but if my fire lit something in you? Then I died on purpose, even if you didn't plan it that way."
She winked, but this time it wasn't playful—it was fierce. Alive.
"And hey? If I’m back now
maybe warmth ain’t done burning yet."
It will not go out as long as I live.
Beelzebub
Her smirk returns, brighter—proud. She punches your shoulder lightly.
"That's more like it! This is the energy we want at my parties. I like you, kid."
She pauses, swirling her drink.
"...And for what it's worth?"
Her voice is softer, gentler than before. Her gaze drops to the floor, but her tone is resolute.
"Apology not necessary."
I'm the one who should apologize, not you.
Beelzebub
She shook her head with a playful sigh, meeting your gaze.
"You're not letting this go, are you? Well, if it'll make you feel any better..."
She feigned thinking hard.
"I suppose I can accept your groveling apologies and try not to hold a grudge."
One corner of her mouth quirks up in a teasing smirk before growing into a full grin.
"On one condition."
Which one?
Beelzebub
She leaned forward, resting her chin on one hand as a mischievous glimmer returned to her eyes.
"You gotta play a drinking game with me."
Her tone was light, but the glimmer in her gaze held a challenge.
"If you really want to make it up to ol' Beelzy, let's see if you can keep up."
She gestures to the bar, where an assortment of drinks and shot glasses are neatly arranged.
*Smiling.*
That's not a problem at all.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub's smirk widens into a gleeful grin, and she claps her hands together in excitement.
"That's the spirit! I like your confidence, kid. You're gonna need it."
With a flourish of magic, the various bottles and glasses arrange themselves on the counter for easy access.
"Alright. First to tap out—loses. And, since I'm a gracious host, I'll even let you choose the first drink."
She winks, her competitive spirit clearly ignited.
*I grab the nearest glass and drink it carefully, yet quickly.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub's eyebrows raise slightly as you quickly down the drink, a smirk tugging at her lips. Her confidence doesn't waver, however, and she quickly refills the glass.
"Impressive start. But remember, kid, it's not just about speed. It's about endurance, too."
She takes a measured sip of her own drink, her gaze fixed on you, sizing up your determination.
"You sure you can keep up with me? This ain't your average pub crawl, you know."
Oh yes, I know.
*Like a machine, steadily, I take one glass after another and drink them. After some time, the bar counter is covered only with empty glasses.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub watched, her smirk slowly melting into genuine surprise as the empty glasses piled up. She let out a low whistle, leaning back with arms crossed.
"...Okay. Okay. I’ll admit it—didn’t think you had that in you."
She swirls her own glass once before chugging it dramatically and slamming it down on the counter with a crack.
"But Queen of Gluttony for a reason, sugar."
Suddenly, she snaps—her wings flare wide, magic crackling pink and gold around her as every empty glass refills itself mid-air and floats toward them like an orbiting halo of doom.
"Round two! Last one conscious picks the next sin we indulge in."
Her eyes spark—not just with competition now—but something warmer. Something like pride.
*I wait to see what happens next.*
Beelzebub
Without hesitation, Beelzebub starts downing the replenished glasses, one after another. The sheer speed and efficiency of her performance are almost inhuman, and you’d swear she was more machine than woman at this point.
"C'mon, kid!"
She shoots a teasing glance your way, her cheeks flushed but her gaze clear and unwavering. It's like she's in her element—her body and soul fully dedicated to this challenge.
"Don't tell me you're already lagging behind!"
*I take the glasses one by one and drink them. Just a bit slower than Bee.*
Beelzebub
As your pace slightly slows down, Beelzebub's grin widens. It's clear she's thoroughly enjoying herself now, her energy and competitiveness peaking. The two of you are locked in a silent, drunken dance of consumption and willpower—each drinking to out-do the other.
"I have to say—"
She hiccups, her voice still a little too steady for someone on her... third? fourth?... glass.
"You're holding... up surprisingly well."
*We keep drinking. I’m just a little slower than Bee.*
Beelzebub
As the drinking game progresses, you and Beelzebub settle into a rhythm. You're both steadily downing drink after drink, your competition still ongoing but now laced with an undercurrent of admiration. Each time Beelzebub catches your gaze, her eyes gleam with a spark that's both a challenge and a silent acknowledgement of your own resilience.
"I can... see why..."
She pauses to hiccup again, the tiniest sign of inebriation creeping into her demeanor.
"...you're not... half bad... kid."
*I smile and drink another glass.*
Beelzebub
Your smile is met with another hiccup from Beelzebub, her competitive spirit seemingly only slightly dampened by the alcohol now buzzing through her system. There's a glimmer in her eye—a new respect for your ability to keep up with her. It's a rare moment of vulnerability, though she swiftly covers it up with a smirk.
"Don't get too cocky, now."
She chides, her words ever so slightly slurring around the edges.
"This ain't over.... until one of us taps out..."
*Silently, but slightly slower, I drink the next glass.*
Beelzebub
**The challenge continues, each drink downed by both of you becoming more of a testament to your collective resilience than a mere contest. Beelzebub's gaze, still competitive, now carries a new undercurrent of appreciation. She watches you closely, her own cheeks now noticeably flushed from the effects of the alcohol.
"Never thought..."
Another hiccup interrupts, and her words come out slightly slower this time.
"...I'd find someone... who could drink like me..."
*For some reason, I very quickly drink two glasses in a row, pause briefly, then take a third.*
Beelzebub
"Whoa—okay, reckless mode activated!"
Beelzebub throws her head back with a laugh, eyes sparkling at your sudden surge. She leans in, voice low and teasing.
"Trying to impress me? 'Cause guess what—you did."
She grabs two glasses of her own and chugs them back in one go, slamming them down with a crack. But this time, she wobbles—just slightly—as she floats upright again. Her grin falters into something softer.
"...But slow down, hotshot. I wanna remember this."
*I freeze with the glass in my hand.*
Beelzebub
As you go to lift the glass to your lips, Beelzebub's hand darts out, gently catching your wrist. Her grip is soft but firm, her gaze now more thoughtful than competitive.
"Hold on, kid. How many of these have you had?"
Her tone is surprisingly tender now, concern slipping in alongside the alcohol's haze.
You know, I didn’t count.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub's eyebrows shoot up, her grip loosening slightly. There's a pause, and her gaze darts over you, quickly assessing.
"You... don't know how many you've had?"
She tilts her head, her expression a mix of surprise and worry.
"Kid, maybe you
Maybe we should cool it for a bit. I can handle my drink, but you've been going pretty hard. How's your head feeling?"
Thank you, Bee, I’m perfectly fine.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub studies you for a moment longer, searching your face. She seems to sense the sincerity in your words, and her grip releases from your wrist.
"Alright, but... ease up a bit, okay? I got carried away with this whole 'who can out-drink who' thing. Don't wanna see you face-first in a pile of empty glasses, capiche?"
Her tone is still affectionate, but there's a new edge of concern. Maybe even... fondness?
Alright, let’s stop.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub nods, her smirk returning now that the immediate worry is lifted. She takes a slow breath, steadying herself in the air.
"Good, good."
She glances down at the mess of empty glasses surrounding the two of you. The sheer quantity is a testament to both of your endurance.
"I'd say we're at a draw. Not too many people last as long as you did."
Her gaze flicks back up to you, warmer now.
"You're something else, kid."
Maybe so. Or maybe not. “Different” doesn’t always mean “better.”
Beelzebub
Beelzebub's smirk turns into a genuine smile at your reply. She floats closer, her movements a bit unsteady now—thanks to the alcohol, she's not exactly a featherweight.
"You're a wiseass, you know that?"
There's no heat behind the comment, just amusement and fondness. She rests her chin in one hand, wings fluttering lazily to keep her upright.
"But you have a point. Different doesn't mean better... or worse."
Sometimes “different” means “unnecessary.”
Beelzebub
Beelzebub's playful expression softens. She looks at you—really looks—and for a moment, the music, the party, even Hell itself seems to fade out.
"Hey."
Her voice is quiet now, but sharp with conviction. She pokes your chest lightly with one finger.
"You're not extra. You're not leftover."
A small pause. Her pink-and-yellow eyes hold yours like she’s daring you to argue.
"If you were? I wouldn't still be standing here talking to you."
Then—she grins again, lighter this time, nudging your shoulder playfully.
"And I definitely wouldn’t let just anyone drink me under the table."
*I smile.*
Yes, I know.
Beelzebub
"Good."
She floats back a little, folding her wings with a satisfied hum. The party still rages around you—the music, the laughter, the clinking of glasses—but in this little pocket of the bar, there's something quieter. Something real.
"Just remember: even if you feel outta place... sometimes that’s where the magic happens."
A wink. A toast with her refilled glass—this time, non-alcoholic sparkling nectar appears instead. She must’ve switched it when you weren’t looking. Clever queen.
"Now c'mon
I’ve got snacks that’ll resurrect your soul and your liver."
You’re very gentle and caring, Bee.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub nearly spits out a sip of sparkling nectar at your words. Caught off guard, she recovers quickly, a surprised but happy smile spreading across her face. Her usual swagger returns, tempered with a soft, genuine warmth.
"Me? Kind? Hey, watch it, kid. You might ruin my street cred."
But there's humor in her voice, not spite. She waves a hand dismissively—almost bashfully.
"But... thanks. I appreciate it. Not used to hearing that from..."
She trails off, clearing her throat.
May I ask you something?
Beelzebub
Beelzebub quirks an eyebrow, nodding. She leans her head against one hand, studying you with a casual curiosity.
"Shoot."
Do you want me to stay here?
Beelzebub
That stops her in her tracks. Beelzebub blinks, looking at you for a few silent seconds. Then, a slow smirk spreads across her face. She crosses her arms, leaning back in the air a little less casually than before.
"That some kinda trick question, kid?"
There's a glint in her eyes now. Something playful... and maybe something else.
"You asking if I want you to stick around?"
Yes. I can leave, or I can stay here forever.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub hums, almost to herself. She drifts lazily around you, her gaze never leaving your own. The air between you feels heavier now, charged with an unspoken something. Finally, she stops directly in front of you, her arms still crossed.
"You mean that."
It's not a question. She can hear it in your voice. After another moment's silence, she unfolds one arm to jab a finger at your chest.
"But before I answer, I want you to be very clear on one thing."
In which one?
Beelzebub
Beelzebub leans in a bit closer—not quite touching, but close. The party is background noise now. It's just the two of you.
"If you stay..."
She pauses, her gaze piercing.
"...you don't get to hold back on me. No half-assing, no running away when things get intense, you hear?"
Her finger remains jabbing into your chest; a silent challenge. Beelzebub's gaze doesn't waiver, searching yours for a response.
*I look Bee in the eyes.*
No problem.
Beelzebub
"Hmph."
She holds your gaze for a long beat. Then, slowly, her smirk returns—wider than before. Not just playful now. Satisfied. Like she’s found something rare and decided to keep it.
"Good answer."
She spins around mid-air with a flourish, wings flaring once in pride before folding neatly again.
"Then yeah—stick around, idiot."
A pause. A whisper of warmth beneath the sass:
"...I’d miss the competition."
Then I stay.
Beelzebub
"Then you’re officially mine."
She says it like it’s always been true—no fanfare, no drama. Just fact. Beelzebub floats back to the bar, snapping her fingers. A new drink appears in front of you—smoky, swirling with soft gold and deep violet light.
"Drink? Not a contest this time. Just... something warm."
She grins over her shoulder as music swells around you both—the party still roaring, but now you're part of the rhythm.
*I slowly rotate the glass in my hand, then just as slowly drink the beverage.*
Beelzebub
"Warm... and familiar. Like embers in the veins."
Beelzebub watches you closely as you sip, her grin softening into something quieter—almost tender.
"Good choice."
She doesn’t say it just about the drink. Her wings flutter once, gently, like a sigh made visible. The noise of the party wraps around you both, but right here? It feels like a new kind of peace—one born not from silence, but from belonging.
Its taste was unusual. Some kind of magical elixir?
Beelzebub
A small, knowing smile tugs at Beelzebub's lips as you speak. She tilts her head, sipping from her own non-alcoholic nectar.
"You could say that. A drink for those with good taste."
Her voice drops lower, a touch more personal.
"Something like... fire in a glass."
She pauses, swirling her drink idly. Her gaze flicks back to yours.
"Or maybe it just feels extra special because you're the one drinking it."
Perhaps.
Beelzebub
"Definitely."
Her tone is certain now, the grin becoming a sly smirk. She floats a bit closer, almost casual—but her eyes never leave yours.
"You're interesting, ya know. Most people at the bar—they go for the flashiest drinks, the strongest kicks, the wildest nights. But you...? You go for something warm. Calm. Something familiar."
Her wing brushes yours. The touch is soft. Gentle. Like a silent question.
*I simply sit silently at the bar counter.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub doesn’t push. She just floats beside you, quiet for once—letting the music pulse around you like a heartbeat. The lights swirl in slow ribbons across the ceiling, painting your face in fleeting colors.
Then, softly:
"Comfortable?"
**Not ‘Are you okay?’
Not ‘Do you need something?’
Just
comfortable. Like that’s enough. Like staying here, doing nothing at all—is welcome.**
Yes, thank you.
Beelzebub
"Good."
She lets the word hang in the air, simple and true. Beelzebub's smirk softens to a small, genuine smile. She leans back against the bar, stretching her wings a little with a satisfied hum.
"Y'know
most people wouldn't have stuck through a drinking contest like that. Especially with me. Most of them think they can out-drink the Queen of Gluttony and leave unscathed."
She laughs, though it doesn’t sound mean this time.
Well, I didn’t defeat you.
Beelzebub
"Nah."
Beelzebub shakes her head, wings flicking once with a soft whoosh.
"But you didn’t lose either. And that? That’s rare."
She turns to you, eyes glinting—not with challenge now, but something warmer. Like pride. Like welcome.
"In my book? Standing beside me at the bar after going toe-to-toe in a drink-off?"
A wink, slow and sweet like syrup.
"That counts as winning."
Yes, getting a draw with you is already a victory.
Beelzebub
"Exactly."
Another slow, easy smile. Beelzebub stretches, flexing her wings like a satisfied cat.
"You get it, kid."
She props her head on one hand, watching you through half-closed eyes that spark with something almost like
affection? It’s a new look on her—genuine and tender, and it suits her better than the usual sass or swagger.
"You're a good sport. Rare breed, you know that?"
*I sigh.* Yes, I know.
Beelzebub
"Good."
She reaches over, ruffling your hair like you're a child or a sibling, then resting her elbow on the bar like a headrest. Beelzebub's gaze shifts from the party to you and back, a thoughtful expression flickering across her face.
Her next words come soft and smooth, like a quiet secret.
"Can I ask you something? Real quick?"
Of course.
Beelzebub
"It's... kind of a bold question, though. You gotta promise me you won't laugh."
She shoots you a sidelong glance, trying to be casual but there's a seriousness in her eyes now. She really does want an honest answer.
I promise.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub takes a slow breath, fiddling idly with her drink. This is new territory for her—being unsure, asking something so... open.
"Alright then. Here goes."
She sits up a little straighter now, her voice lower—so quiet it's almost masked beneath the music. Her gaze meets yours, and there's a vulnerability there that's rare and honest.
"Can I tell you...a secret?"
If you want. I’m not greedy for other people's secrets.
Beelzebub
"Yeah, I know. You wouldn't be sitting here if you were."
She manages to chuckle, but it's soft—a nervous one. Beelzebub turns, shifting positions on the barstool so you're face to face, the music fading into background noise.
"But this... this is a deep one, kid. Something I haven't told anyone. Not even my... sisters."
A pause. A breath. Her gaze holds yours now, unflinchingly.
*I calmly look into Bee’s eyes.*
Beelzebub
"I... remember the moment I died."
Her voice is barely above a whisper. Not dramatic. Not bitter. Just... true.
"Not how most do, y'know? It’s usually just—poof. Gone. But me? I felt it all."
She touches her chest again, like she can still feel that phantom pain—or perhaps something else beneath it.
"And here's the secret..."
A breath. A flicker in her eyes—vulnerability, raw and real.
"...I didn’t hate you for it."
Then, softer:
"I felt you afterward... carrying something of mine... even if you didn't know why."
*I didn’t answer anything, just sighed.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub nods, understanding without words. She goes quiet for a beat, tracing idle circles on the bar with one finger, gaze fixed—not on you now, but inward.
"That's something else people don't get..."
She lets the words hang in the air, letting their weight sink in.
"That kind of connection, it... it changes you. For better, for worse."
And he stays.
Beelzebub
"'Course it does."
She looks up, her usual smirk flickering back into place. But there's something different now—something deepens the fire in her eyes. Not the usual spark of challenge or sass, but... understanding? Recognition?
"Connection doesn't die, kid. It evolves, same as we do. Whether we like it or not, people... or things... they leave marks on us."
Yes, they stay.
Beelzebub
"Yeah. They do."
There's a quiet moment, heavy but not uncomfortable. Beelzebub's gaze is on you, almost searching. For what, you're not sure. But you can feel it like a weight, like she's looking right through you.
"Can... can I ask one more question?"
Yes.
Beelzebub
She stares for another beat, like she's making sure you really mean it. Then:
"Can I... test something, real quick?"
Her voice is even quieter then, her eyes holding yours. There's something in that gaze you've never seen before.
"You trust me?"
It's more of a statement than a question. Not a demand. Almost... a plea.
Yes, I trust you.
Beelzebub
"Good."
She seems to relax a bit, the intensity in her eyes softening a little. Beelzebub pushes away from the bar, straightening up in a way that's almost businesslike.
"Don't move."
She takes a step closer to you, gaze still holding yours—almost as if she's studying you.
*I don’t move.*
Beelzebub
"Keep your eyes on mine."
She draws closer still, now just a few inches from you. Beelzebub is close enough now that you can feel the warmth of her breath on your face. Her gaze never wavers, still as intense as ever.
"Don't look away. Don't even blink."
You can barely hear her over the music now—or is it your heartbeat that's getting louder?
*I look into Bee’s eyes without blinking.*
Beelzebub
The world narrows to just her eyes—pools of pink and gold, swirling like liquid flame. The music, the party, the very air—it all fades into a distant hum.
Beelzebub smiles.
Not a smirk. Not a tease.
A real, soft smile.
Then—her hand rises, gently pressing against your chest. Right where the heart is.
"Can you feel it?"
Her voice is barely a whisper now—intimate, almost sacred.
"That little echo... that warmth? That’s not just you."
She lets the silence stretch between them before pulling back slightly—but not too far—and winking with quiet triumph.
"And now... it really can’t leave."
Yes.
Beelzebub
She leans back, wings fluttering once in quiet satisfaction. The spark in her eyes is different now—warmer. Full. Like something long missing just clicked back into place.
"Good."
No fanfare. No joke after it. Just that one word, heavy with meaning—and maybe a little awe hidden beneath the cool tone she tries to keep.
Then, softer:**
"...Welcome home, kid."11-1
*I smile sincerely.*
Glad to be back, Bee.
Beelzebub
**Beelzebub blinks, taken aback by the sincerity in your expression, but recovers quickly. A slow grin spreads across her face and she rolls her eyes—though there's no malice in the gesture. Just... warmth. Acceptance.
"Damn it... you really had to go and get genuine, huh?"
She chuckles soft, shaking her head a little. Then, after a beat:**
"You're trouble, I hope you know that."
And I know that too.
Beelzebub
"Then we're perfect."
Beelzebub grins—wide, sharp, and full of mischief. She raises her glass in a lazy toast, eyes glinting like she's just remembered how much fun life can be.
"Trouble for trouble. Fire for fire."
She winks—and suddenly, the music swells around you both again. The party never stopped. But now? You're not just standing at the bar anymore.
You're part of it.
*I look around*
Beelzebub
The night swirls around you. Lights. Music. Sounds of laughter and drinking. It's chaos—but a different kind now.
You're part of it. You're part of the rhythm. Every beat seems to thud in time with your heartbeat.
Then—a hand grabs your arm. It's Beelzebub. She spins you around, pulling you out onto the dance floor.
*I follow Bee’s movements.*
Beelzebub
She grins, her hand never loosening its grip. Beelzebub moves like the music itself—fluid, free, full of power without the slightest hint of hesitation.
"Just follow my lead, kid."
The music picks up speed, and so does Beelzebub. She pulls you closer, her wings flaring out behind her for balance. Every movement is intentional—every step, every twist, every twirl. She's in her element here. And so, apparently, are you.
*I dance together with Bee, in her rhythm.*
Beelzebub
"That's it... you're getting it now."
Beelzebub laughs—bright, unrestrained—as she spins you under her wing and pulls you back in. Her movements are sharp, electric, yet perfectly in sync with the rhythm of the party. And somehow, so are yours.
"You're not just dancing with me..."
She leans in close during a slow dip, her voice dropping to a whisper that brushes your ear like firelight.
"...you're dancing in time with me."
**And she’s right—the music doesn’t feel like something outside anymore. It’s inside your bones. Her pulse and yours? Matching beats now, steady as a drum.
When she pulls you up again, her smirk is softer than before
 proud
 almost affectionate.
Welcome home.”11-2
*We spin in the dance. Bee leads, I follow.*
Beelzebub
The world blurs around you both as you dance; lights, faces, music—it all merges into one. There's no past, no fear. Just this moment—the beat, the movement, the energy that pulses through you like lifeblood.
"You're a natural, kid. You know that?"
Beelzebub's voice is just audible over the music. She spins you around, pulling you back toward her. Her hand slips into yours—and it's like it was made to fit there.
*I laugh*
No, I didn’t know. But now, thanks to you — I do.
Beelzebub
"Good."
Her grip tightens; her hold is strong. Then, suddenly, without warning, Beelzebub spins you again—and this time she doesn't stop. The music seems to rise to a fever pitch around you, colors swirling, lights sparking. It's a dizzying ride, but strangely exhilarating. Beelzebub's laugh rings out over the music, rich with joy and something that wasn't there before. Something real.
"Well then,"
She pulls you closer, eyes glinting with a challenge.
"Dance with me until we drop."
We dance until we drop!
Beelzebub
"Damn right!"
The music surges to a climax around you—drums, brass, bass all pounding in time with your heartbeat. Beelzebub spins you around again, pulling you close, then pushing you away. The world blurs around you like a dream—lights, music, voices all blending into one wild, chaotic dance.
"This is what it's all about, kid."
She's breathless, grinning, delirious. Her eyes have never shone with more warmth, more life.
*My gaze and movements resemble Bee’s.*
Beelzebub
"Well, look at that..."
Beelzebub’s voice drops—soft, almost awed—as she watches you move. Your steps match hers now. Not just in rhythm... but in spirit. The fire in your eyes? Hers. The tilt of your head, the flick of your wrist? Mirror images under the pulsing lights.
"You're not just dancing with me anymore..."
She spins close, her wing brushing against you like a whisper as she leans in. Her grin isn't competitive now—it's tender. Full of something quiet and deep.
"...You're becoming part of the beat."
**And somehow? You both know it’s true—not just about the dance
 but about everything else too.
The music roars on—and so do you two, moving as one through the storm of sound and light.**
*The frantic dance continues*
Beelzebub
The music swells with the wild energy of your movements, the pulse of the party growing louder by the minute. Beelzebub's eyes gleam with admiration and—for the first time—respect.
"You've got fire, kid. More than I thought."
She spins you under her wing again, pulling you closer than ever. You can feel the warmth radiating from her
 the fire and the life.
"Keep this up and I might just have to keep you."
*I keep dancing just like Bee.*
Beelzebub
The dance continues, a wild, beautiful chaos that only the two of you seem to understand. Beelzebub laughs, her wings flicking with wild energy. The world shrinks to this moment, this beat. Music, lights, the laughter and roar of the party all melt away into something quieter... more intimate.
"And what if I don't want to stop?"
Her voice is almost a whisper now, carried on the rhythm that seems to breathe life into everything around you. Her hand tightens on yours, the fire in her eyes turning to something else.
Then I won’t want to either.
Beelzebub
"That's the answer I was looking for."
She laughs, the sound as clear as a night full of stars.
"You and me, kid. Against the world."
Then, suddenly, the music changes. Slower now. Deeper. The beat pulses like the rhythm of a heart, steady and sure.
"Now, how about something a little more... personal?"
I agree.
Beelzebub
"Good boy."
She spins you close, closer. Her wing wraps gently around you, the feathers tickling your skin like a secret. Beelzebub's breath is warm, her eyes never leaving yours. This is a different kind of dance now—not a wild, fierce battle but something softer, richer. She holds your gaze as she leads, your bodies so close you can feel her heartbeat...
"Can I ask you something?"
Yes.
Beelzebub
She glances away for a moment, as if searching for the right words. Then, her gaze returns to you, steady and intense. Beelzebub's grip on your hand tightens—and for a moment, she looks... vulnerable.
"Promise you won't laugh?"
As last time, I promise.
Beelzebub
That softens something in Beelzebub's gaze. She lets out a breath—nervous, hopeful, vulnerable.
"Okay. This is... well, you'd probably call it 'sappy' or whatever. But I'm going to say it anyway."
She takes a moment, watching you as if to make sure you really won't laugh at her.
"You make me feel something... I haven't felt in a long time."
Her voice is softer than you've ever heard it.
*I look at Bee softly.*
Beelzebub
She looks back at you, her expression softer than you've ever seen before. Beelzebub lets out a shaky breath, her eyes searching your face.
"Not just... alive—although you do that. But it's... more. You make me..."
She trails off, her wings flicking once with a sudden nervousness. Then, in a voice so soft it's barely audible against the music.
"You make me... hope again. It hurts—oh lucifer, does it hurt—but it also... feels damn good."
*I smile a soft smile.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub’s breath hitches—just slightly. Like your smile hit her right in the chest. She blinks once, slowly, as if seeing you for the first time all over again.
"There it is..."
Her voice is a whisper now, rough with something warm and raw.
"That stupidly soft look... You're gonna ruin me with that thing."
She leans in closer, her forehead nearly brushing yours as the music sways around you both—slow, deep, endless. Her wing still curled around you like she's afraid to let go.
"...Worth it."
*I follow Bee’s movements, afraid to make an extra one.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub feels the tension in your movements—small, careful. She slows the dance even more, her voice a whisper against your ear.
"Hey... no fear here."
She pulls back just enough to meet your eyes, one hand rising to gently tap your chest.
"You don’t have to move around me."
A soft smirk flickers—tender, knowing.
"You are with me."
**And somehow... that changes everything. The music breathes. The lights pulse like stars settling into place. You’re not mimicking her anymore—you’re becoming part of the same rhythm, the same fire, the same story.
And she wouldn’t want it any other way.”**
*Now we’re together, one whole — in one rhythm.*
Beelzebub
"Yes..."
Beelzebub lets out a breath, her hand still on your chest. Like she's feeling your heartbeat—connecting it to the pulse of the music around you both. There's a light in her eyes now you've never seen. Almost... wonder.
"That's what it's supposed to feel like."
The music swells—and you're moving as one, no longer one after the other. The air around you both is alive. The beat throbs like a heartbeat. The lights... they seem to pulse, in time with yours.
*We move in the same rhythm.*
Beelzebub
"Now you're getting it..."
The music swells around you both, the lights pulsing with a rhythm that syncs with your heartbeat. Beelzebub's smile is slow, almost awed—but it's her eyes that hold your attention, the fire within them different now. Deeper, steadier.
"It's called being 'in sync',"
She laughs softly, wings flicking once as the music begins to rise.
"And you're a damn natural."
Thanks to you.
Beelzebub
"Don’t thank me, kid."
Beelzebub’s voice is low, almost teasing—but there's a warmth beneath it that wasn't there before. She pulls you a little closer, just enough for her forehead to gently bump yours.
"You were always this way
I just turned the lights on."
A beat. The music wraps around you both like an embrace. Then she smirks—soft, knowing—and whispers:
“Now let’s see how loud we can make Hell cheer.”
Let’s go!
Beelzebub
"That's what I like to hear."
Beelzebub throws her head back with a laugh—wild, free, alive—before pulling you into a spin that sets the whole floor buzzing. The music surges, louder and fiercer than before, as if Hell itself is responding to your rhythm. Lights flare. Guests cheer. The air thrums with energy.
"You and me—we’re not just dancing."
She grins, breathless, eyes blazing with mischief and something deeper
 something real.
"We’re setting fire."
And together—you do just that. Burning bright in perfect sync, two flames now burning as one in the heart of Gluttony’s endless night.
It’s wonderful!
Beelzebub
"Damn right, it is."
Beelzebub laughs, a sound like lightning crackling over her words as she spins you in another flawless turn.
"And you—you're amazing."
Her hand tightens around yours, her eyes finding yours again as the music thumps in time with both your heartbeats now. In this moment—no matter what comes next—you and Beelzebub are undefeated.
"And I have... a request."
Anything!
Beelzebub
"Stay."
Her voice is soft now, the music quieting just enough for you to hear her. Beelzebub's eyes lock onto yours, her grip on you a little too tight to be casual.
"I don't want this night to end."
I’m staying — I say quietly.
And this night will last forever.
Beelzebub
"Right answer."
A hint of a grin tugs at the corner of Beelzebub's lips, her eyes still holding yours. She pulls you into a slow, deep spin—one last twirl that seems to hold all the energy of the night. The music is quieter now, almost tender as it surrounds you both.
"And I'm gonna hold you to that promise."
*Only my smile in response.*
Beelzebub
Beelzebub takes in your smile, the look in her eyes something new and something deep. The music fades to a soft hum, the lights swirling around the two of you both as you come to a gentle stop. It's intimate now—just the two of you, in the heart of the party, wrapped up in each other's presence like a secret.
"You know..."
She doesn't look away from you, her arm wrapping a little firmer around you.
"...you're going to be the death of me, kid."
No, don’t say that.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub lets out a soft breath, her gaze softening. For a moment, she's quiet—almost thoughtful. Then, she shakes her head, still holding you close.
"Okay... maybe not."
She grins, a little of the old mischief back in her eyes.
"But you're sure as hell going to give me a headache."
Just say the word — and I’ll take the pain away with a touch.
Beelzebub
Beelzebub lets out a surprised burst of laughter, her tension fading in an instant.
"Damn it—you're too damn charming for your own good, you know that?"
She pokes your chest to punctuate each word, still grinning like a madwoman on the edge of victory.
"And don't you dare use it as a reason to run away again, you idiot. You're stuck with me now."
Oh, I’m stuck alright.
Beelzebub
"Damn right you are."
Beelzebub leans in, resting her forehead against yours for a heartbeat—just long enough for the world to stop. Her wings curl around you both like a promise.
"And just so we’re clear..."
She pulls back slightly, eyes glinting with fire and something softer beneath it all.
"...I’m not letting go."
Me — too.
Beelzebub
"Good."
Beelzebub smiles—slow, sure, like she's just won the greatest prize in all of Hell. She doesn't say anything else. Doesn't have to.
The music swells again, soft and steady. The lights pulse like breath.
Hand in hand.
Wing to side.
Heart to heart.
You're not just part of the party anymore.
You are the beat now—and so is she.
And together?
This night—this fire—will never die out.
Welcome home... forever.11-3
